About the role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to provide high-quality learning opportunities that enable pupils to achieve their full potential. Using your advanced knowledge, skills and experience, you will plan, deliver, monitor and assess learning, helping to raise standards and remove barriers to success. This is a new provision for our school and requires a primary specialist. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of needs, fostering independence, confidence and resilience both in and beyond the classroom. Through a nurturing, relationship-based approach, you will support the social, emotional and mental health needs of individuals and small groups, ensuring every child feels valued, supported and ready to learn. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils' academic progress, personal development and wellbeing while working as part of a dedicated and inclusive team.
