About the role

We strongly believe in work life balance and we work with our staff to actively promote and improve wellbeing. Netherthorpe School are seeking to appoint the right candidate to lead and manage the school's Inclusion Centre (IC), providing a safe, structured and supportive environment for students who are at risk of permanent exclusion, internal exclusion, or who experience significant difficulties accessing mainstream lessons due to behavioural, social, emotional or mental health needs. The postholder will work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents/carers and external agencies to improve student behaviour, engagement, attendance and outcomes. They will promote inclusion and support students in developing the skills, resilience and self-regulation needed to reintegrate successfully into mainstream lessons.
