Hair & Beauty Instructor Required from October/November 2026 33 hours per week, term time plus INSET days Salary: £ 34,488 FTE Actual: £27,385 The Limes College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hair & Beauty Instructor to be responsible for the planning, delivery, monitoring and reviewing of Hair and Beauty courses and for the efficient running of the salon. This position is term time plus INSET Days following usual work pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:45am to 4:00pm Wednesday 8.45 am to 4.30 pm Friday 8:45 am to 2:45pm.

The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant qualifications in Hair and Beauty and GCSE grade A-C Have sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in vocational training environments Be able to work calmly under pressure with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances/situations. Have a creative approach to problem solving and use this to inspire and motivate staff and students Have excellent communication skills in order to build rapport with children, colleagues, parents and outside agencies both verbally and in writing
