Intervention Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Intervention Teaching Assistant vacancy in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Lead small-group interventions across core and foundation subjects while supporting whole-class learning in a welcoming primary school. Tradewind Recruitment is working with an outstanding primary school looking to appoint an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant to support pupils through targeted interventions and classroom assistance. Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire , this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and building confidence across the curriculum. Alongside delivering interventions, you'll work closely with teachers to support whole-class learning and contribute to a positive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take greater responsibility for pupil progress while remaining part of a supportive staff team. Key responsibilities You'll play an important role in improving outcomes by: • Delivering structured intervention sessions across core and foundation subjects. • Supporting pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce classroom learning. • Monitoring progress and providing accurate feedback to teachers following intervention sessions. • Preparing learning resources to meet individual pupil needs. • Supporting whole-class teaching when intervention sessions are not taking place. • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting engagement throughout the school day. • Helping to create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels supported to succeed. We're looking for someone who has: • Previous experience working within a UK primary school. • Confidence delivering intervention programmes to individuals and small groups. • Strong literacy and numeracy skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork. • A proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. • Right to work in the UK.
