About the role

Job Title: InterventionTeaching Assistant Terms: 31.25 hours per week, 38 weeks a year - Fixed-term until 31 August 2027 Salary: WeST Pay Scales, Grade B, SCP 4 Location: Ivybridge Community College This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ivybridge Community College. All of our Teaching Assistants play an important role in assisting with support for students, to enable them to access the full range of curricular opportunities (academic and enrichment) the College has to offer. The post holder will work under supervision and direction, usually within the classroom providing general support and assistance as part of a professional team, through the organisation and day to day maintenance of teaching resources and administrative support. Under the guided direction of the teaching staff, the post holder may occasionally (but not regularly) support learning which takes place outside of the main teaching area with small groups. This would be dependent on the member of staff having developed the appropriate experience and skills. Working for the Trust includes some key benefits, please see our website for full details.
