About the role

Job Title: SEND Intervention Coordinator Terms: Part-time, Permanent Salary: WeST Pay Scale, Grade D (SCP 8 - 14) Location: Ivybridge Community College This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ivybridge Community College. The SEND Intervention Coordinator supports the effective operation of the trust and works to uphold and promote its vision and values. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and delivering interventions for those students who require additional support. Under the guidance of the Assistant Principal for special educational needs and disabilities, they will ensure students receive a highly effective range of interventions that enables barriers to learning to be reduced or removed and support effective teaching and learning. Whilst this post is predominantly to support students with special educational needs, the post-holder may be required to deliver interventions to students across a range of vulnerable groups as required including but not limited to: SEND English as an Additional Language (EAL) Pupil Premium Persistent or severely absent Students at risk of exclusion Any other vulnerable group as directed Working for the Trust includes some key benefits, please see our website for full details.
