Woodton Primary School is a small, rural school on the, which is part of the Ellingham VC & Woodton Primary Federation. Our Vision: 'To love our neighbour, enabling everyone to flourish and reach their full potential,' underpins out school ethos. The successful candidate will need to be passionate about children’s learning, build strong relationships with colleagues and parents and enjoy being part of our inclusive and nurturing school community. We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 class teacher.

We are looking for someone who:

Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour. Brings out the best in the pupils they teach and creates enthusiasm for learning. Nurtures and develops the whole child. Is a creative classroom practitioner, who is adaptive and inclusive in their approach. Understands and is able to overcome the challenges of teaching mixed aged classes. Has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and expectations for KS2. Is a reflective practitioner and is committed to their own professional development. Understands the importance of the learning environment, both inside and outside. Encourages children to be resilient and to challenge themselves. Works well as part of a dedicated team. Will contribute to the wider development and life of the school.

You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
