Learning Coach

Grade: Grade 3, £26,388 - £27,188 per annum, pro rata. Approximately £19,133 – £19,713 per annum (0.72508 FTE)

About The Role

We are looking for a Learning Coach to join the team at Krishna Avanti Primary School, supporting children to engage with their learning, develop their confidence and make progress. Working closely with class teachers, you will provide whole-class, small-group and individual support, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different learners and helping every child to access and enjoy their learning. You will build positive and trusting relationships with children, encouraging them to develop their independence, resilience and confidence while recognising and responding to their individual strengths and needs. The role offers variety from day to day, with opportunities to work across different groups and learning environments and to contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom experience. What will you do? Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning across the classroom, working with individuals, small groups and whole classes to help every child access the curriculum and make progress. Build positive, supportive relationships with children, adapting learning and using appropriate strategies to meet individual needs, including those with SEND or English as an additional language. Work collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, families and relevant professionals to share information, identify needs and contribute to effective support for children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Promote an inclusive, respectful and positive learning environment by supporting children’s social and emotional development, encouraging participation and responding appropriately to safeguarding or wellbeing concerns. Contribute to the wider life of the school and your own professional development, embracing training, school activities and opportunities to develop your practice in line with the Trust’s ethos and values.

What are we looking for?
