About the role

Learning Mentor – Griffin Centre Grade 3, Point 5 FTE £26,427.00 pa pro rata 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45am – 3:15pm Term-time only Closing Date is 30 September 2026 Interview date TBC This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join the Griffin Centre Autism Resource Base team at Ralph Allen School, working alongside a highly skilled Additional Educational Needs team to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in successfully accessing mainstream education at Ralph Allen School. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have previous experience working with children, young people or adults with additional learning needs, particularly autism. The role will involve working closely with class teachers and pastoral staff to support students’ inclusion within the mainstream curriculum and wider school environment, enabling them to participate fully and achieve success. You will also be required to assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties. Full training will be given. Our school belongs to the Palladian Academy Trust, which is passionate about providing opportunities for its pupils and staff.
