Main Purpose of Job Support the Leadership Team in implementing the vision of the school.
Improve attendance through hands-on approaches, including engaging with families, pupils and the wider system
To secure the very best standards of social and emotional mental health across the school through mentoring and in - class support
Prioritise the importance of good physical and mental health and positive learning behaviours for pupils
Be responsive to the needs of pupils
Main Responsibilities Support for the Pupils and Staff Support an ethos in which all staff are motivated and supported to develop their own skills and subject knowledge through effective communication and collaboration
Use evidence-informed practice to support and develop emotional resilience in and outside the classroom.
Plan and support a range of extracurricular learning opportunities.
Contribute towards key fundraising events.
Contribute to identifying key areas of strength and improvement with detailed
knowledge of the school's day-to-day policies and working practices.
Ensure that any systems implemented are fair and transparent, and promote the well-being of children
Knowledge and Understanding Understand the relationship between the curriculum, social and emotional learning and educational achievements
Show an understanding of how teamwork contributes to school improvement.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues
Be committed to developing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders: parents/ carers, teachers, the Pastoral Team and the Senior Leadership Team through regular communication
