Job description

Learning Mentors work as part of a team under the direction of the Academy Leader, supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The role involves working with individuals and small groups to promote engagement, improve behaviour and attendance, and support students’ social and emotional development, while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a caring, proactive, and dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children to succeed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, and a calm, patient approach. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and a positive learning environment. Experience of working with children or young people is desirable, along with a genuine desire to make a difference.
