Learning Support Assistant Contract: Part time , Permanent All day Tuesday (8.40am to 3.30pm), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Mornings only ( 8.40am to 3.30pm) 19 hours and 20 minutes per week. Term time only plus training days

Salary: NJC 2B (points 3-5)

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant based in our Early Years setting you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational journey of our students (including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)). Working closely with our experienced teaching staff and the EYFS Lead, you will assist in delivering educational activities tailored to the individual needs of students, both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will encompass providing personalized support to address the academic, personal, and social needs of our pupils, ensuring their progress and well-being.

Requirements

Experience of working in an EYFS setting and a working knowledge of the EYFS Framework Passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow the guidance of teaching staff. Experience in supporting children, ideally within an educational setting. NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant areas or equivalent is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
