Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and caring individual to join our Inclusion Team as a Learning Support Assistant, linked to our Learning Support Centre. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting students and teachers across the school, working collaboratively with staff in a range of departments to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. We welcome applicants who can bring particular subject knowledge or areas of specialism, and we would encourage you to highlight these in your application. Previous experience of working with students with additional needs would be desirable, but it is not essential. We are committed to supporting the successful candidate and will provide specialist training and professional development to help you develop the knowledge and skills required for the role. We are looking for someone who is: Enthusiastic, positive and committed to supporting students. Patient, empathetic and able to build strong relationships with young people. Adaptable and confident working across different departments and learning environments. A good team player who can work effectively alongside teachers and other members of the Inclusion Team. Committed to promoting inclusion and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. Keen to learn, develop their skills and undertake relevant specialist training. If you are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and would like to make a positive difference to their educational experience, we would be delighted to hear from you.
