About the role

About Monksmead School Monksmead is a one-form entry maintained primary school serving Reception to Year 6 in Borehamwood. We are proud of our warm, respectful community and our commitment to “Respect, Reflect, Believe, Succeed.” We have a high proportion of pupils with EHCPs and SEN, and we take seriously our role to educate and nurture each individual so they can thrive. About the Role We are excited to invite applications for the role of SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant at our school. We currently have opportunities for both full and part-time positions, and wish to appoint enthusiastic and committed individuals to support children with additional needs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the continued progress, care, and welfare of our pupils. The roles are term time only, Monday to Friday. They also include lunch cover. It is important to note that these are fixed term contracts, directly linked to the requirements and funding of the EHCP held by the pupil(s) you will be supporting. About you - the ideal candidate: flexible in your approach to school life able to support all our children to become curious, successful learners who believe in themselves prepared to train if you do not currently have a Level 2 qualification committed to upholding the ethos of the school self-reflective and proactive committed to ensuring the very best for all our children in all aspects of their education and well-being a team player with a great sense of humour!
