Learning Support Assistant

Your Role

Are you a dedicated and experienced educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? At Co-op Academy Grange, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide in class support for individual students and groups of students, including those in mainstream school and in our resource provision. You will develop and implement personalised learning to support each pupil’s unique needs and abilities using innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire young learners. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth

We are looking for candidates who:

Are an excellent practitioner. Are confident in the classroom and understand how children with SEND, learn. Have high expectations of what can be achieved. Seek to build positive relationships with children. Are flexible with a good sense of humour and an understanding of the ‘bigger picture’. Are able to work to their own initiative as well as part of a team. Are confident and excited about using and embracing IT and outdoor learning in their practice. Are flexible, hardworking and have a passion to make a difference in the lives of our young learners. A genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference.
