Mytchett Primary & Nursery Academy Learning Support Assistant 1-1 Temporary contract / Term time Including INSET days Part-time / 22.5 hours / Monday - Friday / 8.30am - 1pm Salary: £23,859 - £26,014 FTE (actual salary £12,713 - £13,862 pro rata per annum) Are you flexible, patient, caring and confident with children? We are looking to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the teachers and other support staff in our Academy.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

Support a child in Year 1 with an EHCP Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all children in learning and extracurricular activities Show professionalism by having proper regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the academy Consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils

Work collaboratively with teachers and other colleagues

The Ideal candidate will:

Be kind, caring and patient Have some experience in supporting children who have additional needs Be enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for motivating children to be their best
