Job description

This is a Fixed Term Position Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping our children thrive. The position includes potentially providing 1:1 support for an individual pupil, so experience of working closely with children with additional needs would be an advantage. In this role, you will: Bring a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Build positive relationships that help children feel safe, confident and ready to learn. Use a flexible and proactive approach to support teaching, learning and assessment. Engage and motivate pupils through creative and purposeful learning experiences. Have high expectations and a commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential. Show initiative, resilience and a willingness to go the extra mile for our children. Take pride in your own professional development and be keen to learn and grow as part of our team. We are looking for someone who is warm, positive and committed to making a real difference every day. In return, you will join a welcoming school where staff are valued, supported and encouraged to develop professionally. The school reserves the right to close the listing at any time and shortlist earlier if strong candidates apply earlier in the process. Holt Farm Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its entire staff to share this commitment. All postholders working in our schools will be considered to work in Regulated Activity and will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
