Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who shares our schools’ ambition for excellence. This post is assigned to a pupil with SEND in Early Years. Experience in supporting pupils with social communication difficulties will be an advantage. Theydon Bois Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school looking to appoint a highly effective, caring, enthusiastic colleague to join our skilled and committed team of Learning Support Assistants. This is a fixed term, full time position, term time only, and the hours will be 8.40am to 15.20pm each day with 30 minutes for lunch. Successful applicants must be willing and able to demonstrate up to date and relevant knowledge of safeguarding procedures promote positive well-being show a commitment to meeting pupils’ needs possess good communication skills be able to work as part of a team show initiative and be flexible provide intimate care, as required carry out lunchtime duties The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
