About the role

Post: Learning Support Assistant Salary: Grade 3, pay range for this post - Point 4 £26,016 to Point 6 £26,847 (Pro Rata) Contract Details: 39 weeks, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30 Job Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2027 Start date: November 2026 Closing Date: Sunday 11th October 2026 Shortlisting: Monday 12th October 2026 Interview Date: Monday 19th October and Tuesday 20th October 2026 Cliff Lane is a thriving primary school in East Ipswich, close to the beautiful Holywells Park. It is part of a growing multi-academy trust, ASSET Education. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful school. We are passionate and fully committed to providing the very best education for all of our children. We are looking for someone who has:

A flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.

A willingness to fully participate in all aspects of school life.

The ability to use their initiative.

A commitment to professional development.

Experience of working in a primary school setting.

Experience of working with children with additional needs (preferable).

This is a fixed term position until 31st August 2027, subject to a successful probationary period.
