Situated on the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire border and close to the market town of Hitchin, the school also benefits from being within 5 minutes drive of idyllic countryside locations, yet being 5 minutes from the M1 and London Luton Airport. We are now looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with additional intimate care duties to join our team. This is an essential role in the school to ensure that our high expectations of teaching and learning are maintained at all times. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the learning of individuals or groups of students to enable them to access the whole school curriculum as their individual needs allow. To arrange a visit or book a telephone conversation to discuss the role further, please contact hr@qesluton.co.uk Key duties Deliver care involving washing, touching, or undertaking invasive tasks that students are unable to carry out independently due to physical disability, medical needs, or special educational needs Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all students in learning and extracurricular activities Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school’s policy and procedures.
