About the role

Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to help students make progress across the curriculum, supporting them one-to-one, in small groups and in whole-class settings. This is a fixed-term position until August 2027 in an academy that consistently performs above national averages at Key Stage 4, where high-quality teaching and strong pastoral care go hand in hand. You will be part of a supportive team within the academy, with access to an extensive professional development programme, flexible working and generous benefits. To succeed in this role, you will be caring, patient and committed to helping every young person thrive, regardless of their background. You build positive relationships with students quickly, adapt your approach to meet individual needs, and work well as part of a team with teachers and support staff.
