About the role

We are looking for a number of dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help ensure all students, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), can thrive and succeed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference each day. If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you. This position is contracted up to 31 hours per week Term Time Only basis . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. Job Purpose Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations, in both the mainstream classes and resource base classes. Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self- esteem and social inclusion. Key Skills & Experience Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
