Learning Support Assistant

Kingswood Primary School is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work one to one with two named children with additional learning needs. We are committed to all our children achieving their full potential across the expanding range of opportunities we offer them. We would like to recruit an individual who will contribute to this ethos and will be proactive in moving our school forward.

The successful candidate will:

have a good level of general educational qualifications have an interest in special educational needs have an understanding of learning and be able to contribute to assessment and planning have high expectations, together with caring attitude and flexibility know how to provide the children with a safe and secure environment

This is a full time term time role working Monday to Friday from 8.40am to 3:20pm, 30.85 hours per week over 38 weeks per annum. The pro rata starting salary is £18,053 (£25,133 FTE).
