Teaching and Learning Support Assistant - Penn Fields Special School Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support and deliver learning under the guidance of teaching staff and senior leaders. Work closely with teachers in the classroom to ensure SEN students have full access to learning. Lead 1:1 intervention sessions where appropriate and provide tailored support across all key stages. Promote inclusion, independence, and positive relationships with students. Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and relational management. Follow a trauma-informed approach to nurture student wellbeing and progress. Take a trauma-aware, relational approach to all interactions and communication with colleagues and the school community Support therapeutic swimming This role is ideal for someone who is caring, adaptable, and committed to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
