Qualifications

Relevant vocational qualification Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards Evidence of continuing professional development Assessor and verifier qualifications Knowledge/Experience Significant and successful teaching experience in Motor Vehicle with a proven record of success is preferable across all levels. Strong vocational background in a related area Experience of effective team working and effective relationships between staff and students Ability to develop supportive working relationships with parents and other key stakeholders Knowledge of curriculum and assessment issues and IMI procedures and practices Detailed understanding of curriculum developments and national initiatives in Motor Vehicle Current knowledge of awarding body practices, through up to date training is preferable Knowledge of safeguarding issues Knowledge of equality and diversity issues
