About the role

Lunchtime Supervisor Vacancy Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only Grade 2 Point 4 - 9 Salary £25,185 - £27,254 per annum (pro rata) This is the Robin Hood MAT Pay Grade Closing date - Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 9.00am. Interviews will be held Week Commencing 5th October 2026 Start Date 2nd November 2026 (Maybe sooner depending on checks) References will be required for the short-listed applicants. Successful applicants will need to provide evidence of their identity and Right to Work in the UK, and will need to complete an enhanced DBS check. For an application pack please log into www.mynewterm.com Required for 6 ¼ hours per week, term time only. We are looking for Caring and Observant Supervisors to join our team. You will be responsible for leading play activities, the health and welfare of our children, supervising children in the dining room, playground and / or classroom. You will need to be reliable, committed and interested in working with children and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model. You will need to be willing to undertake paediatric first aid training. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage. An ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English’ or ‘The ability to converse at ease with parents/pupils and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post Safeguarding Robin Hood MAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, including those within our Central Team, to share this commitment and to maintain a vigilant and safe environment across all our academies. This post is considered "regulated activity" (or involves regular access to our school sites) and is therefore subject to an Enhanced DBS check with a check of the Children’s Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity. All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a self-declaration of their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. In line with the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), we will conduct an online search on all shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence process.
