About the role

Deanwood Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Midday Meals Supervisor to start from September 2026. We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Meals Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a safe and enjoyable dining and play environment. As we begin our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey, we are looking for someone who is keen to engage in outdoor play with children in all weather. Previous knowledge of OPAL is useful but not essential. Find out more at https://outdoorplayandlearning.org.uk/. This is a part time, permanent, Term Time Only role, paid on the NJC pay scale E2 point 2 ( FTE £25,614 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £3,617 per annum ). The working pattern will consist of 6 hours and 15 minutes per week, Monday-Friday. This role is only required during the school's term time. What can we offer you?
