Job description

Midday Supervisor 5 hours per week, 1 hour per day NOR:220 (group 7) Age range :3-19 Salary - Scale A - £2,888 Annual Actual (£25,614 FTE) Required as soon as possible Are you looking for a job where you really make a difference to the lives of children? Do you have a passion and energy for giving pupils the best possible support? Have you thought about working in the rewarding role of supporting pupils in a complex needs school? Located in a modern building, Churchill Park Academy is an Ofsted Good, all through mixed special school, catering for children and young people of West Norfolk with complex needs. The academy was rated 'Expected Standard' in all areas by Ofsted in June 2026. With 224 students currently on roll, Churchill Park Academy provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of its pupils. The academy is proud to be part of Unity Education Trust. The successful candidates will have the ability to form positive relationships with children and young people and be committed to ensuring they have the very best support to learn. We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic, and open minded. Experience of working in a special school is not essential. Candidates must be able to empathize with young people who have a range of complex needs and all age groups. Churchill Park Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete an declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
