About the role

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated individual to join the team at St Lawrence Primary School. Key Responsibilities: To supervise children in the dining and play areas during lunch time breaks. To ensure orderly conduct and promote good mealtime and positive play experiences in a safe and proactive manner. To help with litter management and clear up after breaks. To help students make a timely exit from play areas and into lessons. To meet the needs of all pupils in terms of safety, security and general wellbeing. Qualifications and Skills: Basic numeracy and literacy. Ability to understand basic health and safety and hygiene and other relevant procedures. Able to operate basic equipment. Good listening skills and enthusiasm to learn. Basic IT skills. Training will be provided, so prior experience is not essential. About Our School St Lawrence Primary School has large, bright classrooms, all with access to their own outside space. St Lawrence has a modern, spacious school hall, a large school kitchen, a children's kitchen, a specialist learning hub and a newly extended library area with additional learning space for small group work. St Lawrence also has impressive outside facilities with a fantastic school field which includes an orchard, and an allotment area all of which are used during our Forest School sessions. All adults employed by the Trust have a responsibility for data protection and have a duty to observe and follow the principles of the GDPR Regulations. This post will be exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
