Midday Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic midday supervisor to join our team. You will help ensure pupils have a safe, happy and positive experience by supervising children in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas. Key Responsibilities Supervising pupils during lunchtime period in the dining hall and playground Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils Assisting children where necessary Encouraging healthy eating and good table manners Reporting any incidents or concerns to senior staff Supporting the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies We are looking for someone who Enjoys working with children Is calm, patient and approachable Has good communication skills Works well as part of a team Is reliable and flexible Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Safeguarding Westgate Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures. Fluency Duty In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
