Job description

The Role: Are you a friendly, hardworking, caring and positive individual who would like to work with children? We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to our friendly, welcoming school. About Us : Mapplewells Primary and Nursery School is a happy, well-regarded and caring primary school with a welcome atmosphere. At our school, we have enthusiastic children, supportive governors and parents/carers. We are committed to raising standards and providing a high quality learning environment. Mapplewells Primary and Nursery School is a part of the Flying High Partnership. Responsibilities: Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas. Encourage positive play and social interactions among pupils. Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, addressing any issues or incidents promptly. Assist with the setup and tidying of dining areas, including cleaning tables and managing equipment. Promote good behaviour and adherence to school policies during lunchtime. What We’re Looking For: A caring and patient individual who enjoys working with children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills with both children and adults. Awareness of health and safety and safeguarding procedures. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
