We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisor Assistant (MSA) to join our dedicated team. This is an important role within the school, helping to ensure that our pupils enjoy a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience. Our Vision: 'To love our neighbour, enabling everyone to flourish and reach their full potential,' underpins our school ethos. Hours of work, 4.5 hours per week, 11:45-13:15, 3 days per week (*potential for maternity cover for 2 additional days). The successful candidate will: Supervise children during the lunchtime period both indoors and outdoors. Promote positive behaviour and encourage good manners. Support pupils in developing positive play and social skills. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children. Assist with setting up and tidying the dining area and playground as required. Work closely with school staff to support pupils' needs. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Enjoys working with children and helping them thrive. Is caring, patient and approachable. Has a calm, caring and consistent manner at all times Responds appropriately to pupils’ individual needs Promotes inclusion and will offer 1:1 support if needed Has good communication and interpersonal skills. An enhanced DBS will be required. This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
