Job description

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our thriving school nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional to play a key role in delivering outstanding provision for our youngest learners. The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through observation, assessment and effective next-step planning. Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment. Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Work collaboratively with the wider early years team to deliver excellent outcomes for all children. Support children with additional needs and contribute to inclusive practice. Ensure safeguarding, welfare and health and safety requirements are met at all times. We invite applications from candidates who: Hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education. Have experience working within an early years setting. Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Have excellent communication and organisational skills. Have a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development. Can demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Have experience working in a school-based nursery. Can demonstrate sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations within early years. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and an overseas criminal records check if you have lived or worked outside the UK within the last 10 years. In accordance with KCSIE, online checks will be completed for all shortlisted candidates.
