A QTS-qualified teacher who truly values the importance of nursery education. Someone who is playful, warm and fun, with a genuine love for children and a strong belief in their capabilities. A teacher who can bring stories to life, sparking imagination and a lifelong love of reading. A friendly and approachable colleague who is happy to work in partnership with parents. An advocate for childhood who understands how young children learn and can adapt to meet their ever-changing needs. A proud member of a professional community, committed to working collaboratively within the Lincolnshire Maintained Nursery School Federation and Greater Lincolnshire Stronger Practice Hub.
Do you believe in the magic of nursery years and the power of play to shape little minds and big hearts? If so, we’d love to hear from you. At Wyndham Park Nursery School, we are proud to be part of a family of maintained nursery schools across the county, working together to champion high-quality early education. We are looking for a flexible, adaptable and smiley teacher who can bring joy and creativity to our youngest learners every single day. We welcome teachers at every stage of their career who share our values, care deeply about children and believe in the power of nursery education. A varied and responsive teaching role We continually review how our teachers work to ensure their roles meet the changing needs of our children and families. At times, you may work directly with one class and take responsibility for its teaching and learning. At other times, you may oversee provision and support for a particular group, such as vulnerable children, or work across all nursery classes to support and develop colleagues’ practice. This is a varied and interesting role that evolves with the nursery, offering different ways to make a difference to children’s learning and wellbeing. SENDCo opportunity Ideally, we would appoint a teacher who would also take on the role of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). We welcome applicants who already hold a SENDCo qualification, as well as teachers interested in developing this area of their practice. We are happy to support the right person to gain the relevant qualification and develop into this part of the role. SENDCo responsibility is an opportunity for the right candidate and is not essential for every applicant. A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) payment will be awarded to the teacher undertaking the SENDCo role.
