We are looking for an Operations Manager for our trust, with majority of the 20 hours focused on our two small schools, Beecholme Primary in Mitcham and New Valley Primary in Purley, and some time spent each week spent on central tasks. As this role is based across both schools this advert appears on Eteach twice – once for Beecholme Primary and once for New Valley Primary. You need only apply once on Eteach to one of the schools but your application will be for the role as advertised working across both schools. No two days are ever alike in primary schools. This is a part-time role comprising 20 hours worked over 3 or 4 days per week during school term times plus 3 weeks of the school holidays (on days that can be agreed with the Headteachers.) Precise working hours and days can be agreed by the successful candidate with the Headteachers. You will spend one day per week in each school. Salary £22,868 (FTE salary is £43,449) which includes holiday pay of 7.4 weeks per annum. [Croydon Grade 9, NJC spinal points 28-30]. Pay progression within the range is subject to good or better performance. Your permanent employment will be subject to satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period. As Operations Manager you will working in partnership with PACE leaders and our Headteachers, Hayley Lewis and Pete Steward, our Finance Manager who covers both schools, and the office staff and caretakers in both schools, to ensure that our ‘behind the scenes’ arrangements support Beecholme, New Valley and PACE more generally to deliver the best possible education for the children in our care.
Please look at the job description for further detail including how to contact us if you have any questions. We believe that diversity is a strength, and our aim is to make sure that PACE Academy Trust reflects our communities. We are actively working towards our organisation being a place where everyone can thrive and make their best contribution. We know that the more perspectives, voices, and experiences we can bring to our work, the better. If you share our values, we welcome your application. PACE Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all our staff to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a disclosure and barring check. We will carry out an online search of all candidates who are shortlisted.
