Job description

Salary: BG8, N13 - N17 £29,064 - £31,022 FTE BG8, N13 - N17 (Actual Salary £22325.74 - £23829.79) Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only + Insets, 32.5 hours per week Closing date: 18th September Interview date: 21st of September, Time TBC Start date: 1st September 2026 We are looking for someone who has: (please see attached full advert for further details) Evidence working with children from a diverse range of backgrounds Evidence of trauma informed practice with vulnerable children The ability to build relationships with children and families who may be considered hard to reach The desire to become a teacher in the future; for the right candidate we would support with PGTA The ability to lead planned cover sessions to facilitate teacher PPA Professional love for the children in our school and the community we serve A practitioner who is hungry to develop and grow - whether as a senior pastoral leader or a teacher in the future We offer: Enhanced CPD, including access to professional networks across the Trust Paid induction and training suited to the role Confidential access to an Employee Assistance Programme Free parking Use of the Cycle Scheme Paid completion of a DBS check Flu vaccination vouchers Free eye tests (where the employee is desk-based) Where eligible, automatic enrolment to the relevant pension scheme Honouring of continuous service earned in the Local Authority Fluency Duty This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
