Job description

Support children in the lunch hall with hot lunches and packed lunches Assist with putting out and packing away of lunchtime play equipment Provide the play co-ordinator with feedback or reports etc as reasonably requested To attend team meetings and training opportunities - this will contribute to their Professional Development Working closely with the play co-ordinator and other members of the team to design a programme of activities which is appropriate to the age and needs of the children Ensuring all children have access to exciting play opportunities every lunch time Facilitate play opportunities and act as an ambassador for play Work with the site manager, play co-ordinator and other team members to ensure that all our children have a safe site for play Assess play areas for risks daily, communicating/implementing any changes required Assess and deliver first aid to pupils (if trained) Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the team practices and performance Record and report incidents of note eg. First aid, behaviour, site issues Keystone Academy Trust is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested for all successful candidates prior to appointment, including a Children's Barred List check if the role meets the criteria for regulated activity. All pre-employment checks are in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).
