Playworker

We are looking for a friendly and energetic After School Club Playworker/Leader to deliver enjoyable activities, support children's wellbeing and help create a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, included and valued.

About the Role

As an After School Club Playworker/Leader, you will help create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where children can play, learn and develop after school. You will supervise and engage pupils in a range of activities, support their wellbeing and ensure they remain safe and happy throughout the session. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is creative and enthusiastic, and is passionate about providing high quality childcare in a fun and supportive setting.

Main duties of the role include:

To provide a safe, Stimulating and happy environment for pupils

Supervise pupils during activities and help to resolve issues between pupils

To log pupils time of collection and name of collector

We are looking for an individual who:

Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting

Ability to cope with personal hygiene needs and respond sensitively to childrens needs

Able to lead games and other activities
