Premises Assistant

We are looking to recruit 2 Site Assistants who are reliable, energetic & professional to join our pro-active site team. Post 1

Hours per week: 37 hours

Weeks Per Year: All year round (37 Hours) Salary: NJC5 -NJC9 (£26,427- £28,154) Post 2

Hours per week: 25 hours

Weeks Per Year: Term time only, including INSET days Salary: NJC5 -NJC9 (£15,332.39- £16,334.01) The main purpose of the role will be to support our Facilities Manager to lead, manage and participate in a team responsible for the safety, suitability and availability of our school premises, facilities and building systems. This contributes to our school community working in a clean, safe and well-maintained secure environment.

Key responsibilities:

Caretaking duties and general site maintenance Grounds maintenance/ cleaning service level agreement monitoring Emergency repairs Liaising with general contractors and school users Key holder and opening up / locking up duties Lettings Management

An organised and friendly team player Someone willing to work hard and use initiative A practical approach to problem solving Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential Expected to share the Trust's high aspirations and expectations of pupils and staff

Working Pattern:

Post 1 Full Time (37 hours per week) Monday - Friday on a rota system of the hours between 6:00 and 21:30. Post 2 Part-time (25 hours per week), working term time only. Hours Monday 6am to 13:00, Tuesday & Wednesday 13:00 to 22:30.
