Job description

Willow Green Academy are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join our academy in September 2026 on a part time, temporary basis for one day per week. Willow Green academy is a single-form-entry school situated in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. There are approximately 220 pupils on role including 14 part time Nursery pupils. Priding ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and community ethos we aim to provide our children with rich learning experiences which are designed to develop the whole chid. This is encapsulated in our school motto ‘A childhood of experiences for lifetime of success’. Through our broad ASPIRE curriculum pupils experience a wide variety of engaging learning opportunities and our extensive grounds provide opportunities for outdoor learning, including forest schools in our very own nature area. Our aim is that our pupils leave us as well-developed, rounded citizens with strong personal and social and communication skills, with a sense of independence, confidence and identity.
