About the role

We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Office & Community Administrator to join our team at Southcott Lower School. The successful candidate will play an important role in the smooth running of our busy school office, providing a welcoming first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors. The role involves a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including managing enquiries, supporting school communications, maintaining accurate pupil records, coordinating admissions and assisting with school events and activities. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and confidence in using IT systems. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role is essential, while experience of working in a school would be an advantage. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential. Southcott Lower School reserves the right to interview and appoint suitable candidates before the closing date. We therefore encourage early applications and may close the vacancy early if a suitable candidate is appointed.
