About the role

Are you an organised, professional and approachable individual who enjoys making a difference? We are seeking a committed Office Administrator to join our dedicated team at Kingfisher Special School and Halcyon Way School. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth running of our schools, providing high-quality administrative support and being the first point of contact for our families, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will: Provide efficient and effective administrative support across the schools. Welcome and assist families, visitors, and professionals, ensuring a friendly and professional reception service. Support teaching and learning through organisation of events such as parents’ evenings, educational visits and meetings. Undertake a variety of office tasks including word processing, record keeping, data entry and financial administration. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and GDPR responsibilities are upheld in all aspects of your work. About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Can communicate confidently and provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone. Is organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Works well in a team and builds positive relationships with colleagues, children, families and visitors. Demonstrates a proactive and professional approach at all times.

Desirable (but not essential) qualities include:

NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent. Experience of working in a school or similar environment. Knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, and additional community languages.
