Job description
We are seeking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. This is an important role in ensuring a safe, inclusive and positive lunchtime experience where all pupils feel supported, engaged and able to enjoy their time.
Working as part of a team, you will supervise pupils across the dining hall, playground and other areas, promoting high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and inclusion. You will actively support play and social interaction, encouraging positive relationships, cooperation and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pupils at lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour
Support both structured and free play, encouraging inclusion and social development
Promote good manners, routines and a calm dining environment
Set up, supervise and clear away play equipment and dining areas
Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment
Follow safeguarding, health & safety procedures and support basic first aid where required
