Headteacher's PA + Office Manager - Robert Barclay Academy Contract: Permanent - Term-Time 37 hours per week plus one additional week & 5 days INSET Pay Grade: H7 to H8 (dependent on experience in similar role) Actual Salary: £29,752 - £35,340 per annum Start Date: October 2026 An exciting opportunity has arisen at Robert Barclay Academy for a PA to the Headteacher / Office Manager to manage the small but dedicated admin team. The position would suit an experienced PA / Office Manager or Administration Assistant looking for the next stage in their career. The successful candidate will be hard working, flexible and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive school. You will provide a confidential and personal PA / secretarial support to the Headteacher. In addition, you will line manage the admin office team to ensure that they support the school efficiently and effectively; whilst undertaking key administrative roles in support of the senior leadership team and staff. You will be provided with a criminal self-declaration form by the school if you are shortlisted for the post. All posts in schools are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If you are appointed you will be required to have an up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. The existence of a criminal background does not automatically mean that you cannot be appointed but it may do so.
