About the role

School Office Manager and Personal Assistant to the Headteacher RG5 SCP 22-28 (£34,811.00 - £40,444.00 FTE) £30,854.24 - £35,846.97 actual Required November2026 (with some earlier handover sessions where possible) 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Term time only plus inset days plus 1 week (paid for 45.6 weeks per year) We are seeking a brilliant, ambitious and friendly Office Manager and PA to join our large and established team. This role is integral in supporting our aspirational and ‘good’ school to continue to improve, as we look to always provide the very best for our diverse children and families. Building great relationships, a belief in every child’s potential and a strong commitment to our embedded values and ethos are essential for the right candidate. Experience within a school administration would be advantageous. Our school admin team and wider school family are a friendly, supportive and established team. A November 2026 start is required with some handover sessions this term where possible. A kind and caring person, who enjoys contributing to a ‘greater good’ by working in a school serving a wide variety of pupils including those are disadvantaged. An excellent English speaker and writer Efficient and effective in your working practices and able to prioritise well Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues. High expectations and be dedicated to raising standards. Outstanding drive and attention to detail. The ability to operate and contribute at a strategic level and take into account the views of leaders and the changing needs of the children who we serve. The drive to work closely as part of a fantastic, cohesive and supportive leadership team.
