Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, carers, and external professionals to provide holistic support. Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and effective communication strategies. Adapt teaching methods and resources to maximise pupil engagement and achievement. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification). Experience teaching children or young people with Special Educational Needs in either a mainstream or specialist setting. A strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated teaching strategies, and inclusive classroom practice. Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching. A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
