About the role

Responsibilities: Provide support to learners with a range of complex special educational needs. Support students with speech and communication difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, social and emotional mental health needs, and learning difficulties. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment. Assist in the delivery of tailored educational activities and interventions. Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress. Candidate Profile: Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in working with learners with special educational needs. Flexible approach to work, able to adapt to the varying needs of students. Experience and understanding of special educational needs, autism spectrum disorder, and safeguarding. Highly motivated with a commitment to supporting student development. Excellent teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Committed to their own professional development, with a willingness to learn and grow in their role as a Teaching Assistant.
