SEN Teaching Assistant

Required for 2nd November or as soon as possible a SEN teaching assistant to support a specific pupil in Reception class. The successful candidate will move up the school with the child, subject to the child's continued attendance at our school and the continuation of funding. What skills and experience we're looking for the successful candidate will demonstrate: *An aptitude for working with children

• understanding of working with SEN pupils.

*A commitment to setting high standards of pupil behaviour. *An ability to motivate children through positive relationships. *Effective communication with children and colleagues. *The capacity to work in a team and learn from others. *Initiative, enthusiasm and commitment. *Previous teaching assistant experience in Reception classes or Nursery provision and a first aid qualification would also be advantageous We reserve the right to interview before the closing date should an application arrive which identifies a potentially highly suitable candidate.
