Job description

Due to the awarding of multiple EHCP's late in the school year and some staffing changes we are looking for 4 SEN teaching assistants to help support our pupils, these roles will include some lunchtime supervision, hence the Mealtime assistant addition to the role. These are fixed term positions based on the continued need, funding or attendance for a specific pupils. Post 1: The position will start in year one and you will go up each year with the pupil until they leave this school. Post 2: The position will start in year two and you will go up each year with the pupil until they leave this school. Post 3 and 4: These positions will start in year five and you will go up each year with the pupil until they leave this school. The successful candidates will demonstrate: An aptitude for working with children. Has exceptionally high expectations for every child. An ability to motivate children through positive relationships, can make learning engaging, purposeful and fun Effective communication with children and colleagues. The capacity to work in a team and learn from others. Willingness to join in as part of a team, be flexible in your thinking and have the best interests of children at the heart of everything you do. Resilience and patience. Previous Teaching assistant experience or experience working in EYFS settings Reflects on your practice and is always looking to improve. Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes Is eager to learn new skills and embrace specialist training.
