Please do email office@wantageprimaryacademy.org for a tour or more information about the role. The role will ideally be full time 5 days a week (Monday - Friday 8.30 - 3.30). The candidate will be primarily based in one class but may also work with other pupils. Teaching Assistant - for named pupil We are seeking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil in Key Stage 1 who is a wheelchair user. The successful candidate will work with a vast team and gain regular CPD and other opportunities.
Able to form effective relationships with children Able to accurately assess risk and support to ensure safety Able to work effectively within a team Able to work flexibly and use their own initiative Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Primary curriculum Able to communicate effectively with children and adults both verbally and in writing Able to liaise effectively with external agencies with the support of the SENCO
